Position Overview :
Edgesource is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to provide SETA (Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance) support for the ground segment of a satellite program. The person in this position will play a critical role on the Ground Team, providing systems engineering oversight for a cloud-based platform that supports mission success. This position is located in the Chantilly, VA area and requires that all job duties be performed 100% onsite.
Job Duties :
- Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure costs to ensure alignment with program budgets.
- Review, provide feedback, and recommend approval for delivered Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
- Assist in prioritizing and managing system requirements to align with mission needs.
- Actively participate in Program Increment (PI) planning and other Agile processes.
- Assess and recommend cloud architecture solutions to support mission and operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards through oversight of Configuration Management (CM) and Configuration Control procedures.
