We are seeking a Landscape Nursery Assistant to join our Edegstone Team in Wareham, MA.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM (hours may vary based on workload)
Pay Rate: $17 per hour
Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Landscape Nursery Assistant. As part of our farm, which sells a variety of plants, landscape plants, fruits, and vegetables, you will play a key role in the care and maintenance of our nursery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in working in a farm setting, learning about plant care, and assisting with day-to-day nursery operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in potting and transplanting various plants, including landscape plants, fruits, and vegetables.
- Water and maintain plants in the nursery to ensure healthy growth.
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning of the nursery, including tools, equipment, and workspaces.
- Help organize plants for display and sale, ensuring they are well-presented.
- Assist with loading and unloading plants, soil, and other materials as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the nursery and on the farm.
- Assist with other tasks as directed by the Nursery Manager or Farm Supervisor.
