Are you a driven, curious, and high-caliber student looking to gain real-world experience in financial advising? Edgewater Family Wealth is launching a paid internship program designed to give you hands-on exposure to the full spectrum of our firm’s operations and philosophy.
This 3-month, in-person internship (3 days/week, 9am–3pm, flexible) will give you direct insight into what makes EFW different from traditional financial advisors. From learning our in-house Goals-Based Planning (GPM) strategies to supporting Advisors and interacting with prospects, this is a unique opportunity to be a part of something meaningful.
💼 What You’ll Do
- Learn the EFW client journey: from prospecting to active client engagement
- Shadow Advisors and teams
- Exposure to how we build client strategies
- Call on warm leads from previous EFW events and initiatives
- Attend select EFW events outside of the office
🧠Skills You’ll Need
- Strong communication & customer service skills
- Team player with a proactive mindset
- Comfort with sales conversations
- Humility, autonomy, and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bring your own laptop with internet access
