We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Prep Cook to join our culinary team at our esteemed fine dining restaurant. The Prep Cook will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of high-quality dishes by performing various kitchen tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and organizing ingredients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A day in the life...
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping vegetables and fruits.
- Measure and portion ingredients accurately according to recipes.
- Prepare sauces, marinades, dressings, and other condiments as directed by the chef.
- Organize and maintain a clean and orderly kitchen workstation.
- Stock and replenish ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.
- Assist in the plating and presentation of dishes as needed.
- Adhere to all kitchen policies, procedures, and standards of quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the chef or kitchen manager.

Requirements
