Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Central Characterization Program (CCP) Vendor Project Manager (VPM) position located at the Hanford Site in Richland, WA.
Responsibilities
U.S. citizenship is required
The successful candidate will obtain qualification as CCP Vendor Project Manager. Interface with working groups and customers from outside organizations as needed to complete work scope. Provide oversight of CCP operations personnel; provide conduct-of-operations leadership and expertise. Provide direction to assigned personnel regarding execution of work scope. Conduct and perform daily shift briefings and report daily plans and priorities to CCP management. Coordinate and supervise CCP equipment deployment, demobilization, and maintenance activities. Perform management observations and assist with management assessments as needed. Develop lessons learned and task specific briefings as necessary. Mentor team members and provide opportunities for professional development. Other duties as assigned.
Physical demands associated with this position include prolonged standing, extensive walking, lifting and carrying heavy weighted item (up to 50 lbs.). The successful candidate must have the ability to negotiate stairs, ladders, and platforms, as well as the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of professional experience, or
- Associate's degree with six (6) years of professional experience, or
- High School Diploma or Equivalency with ten (10) years of professional experience is required.
- Basic skill in researching and recommending alternative solutions to problems associated with the management, disposition, coordination, packaging, movement, storage, quality control, and/or transportation of TRU Waste.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and the ability to interact with a variety of constituents.
- Preference given to candidates with demonstrated working knowledge of CCP TRU Waste Characterization activities and equipment.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
