Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Chemical Dose Assessment/Consequence Engineer opportunity in Eunice, NM at the Urenco USA (UUSA) National Enrichment Facility.
Work Location: Primarily remote with occasional travel on-site
Work Schedule: Part-time on an as-needed basis
Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain DOE L or Q level clearance
Citizenship: United States Citizenship required.

Scope Of Work
- Will perform Chemical Dose Assessment/Consequence Calculations.
- Will support Nuclear Criticality Safety Analyses and Evaluations.
- Will support the overall mission of the facilities design safety program for both operational activities in addition to the development of new design safety basis for future projects.
- Will participate in facility walkdowns, group training activities, and will work as a member of the Design Safety Basis organization.
- Will support process hazards analyses and perform Integrated Safety Analysis impact evaluations, and other tasks as agreed, generally working in the areas of design safety basis.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred) with Chemical Dose Assessment/Consequence experience is required.
- Must have past experience performing calculations and utilizing various modeling software similar to RASCAL or ALOHA.
- Should have experience with documented safety analyses analysis (DOE-STD-3009) or Integrated Safety Analysis (10 CFR 70).
