Urenco USA is a uranium enrichment facility located east of Eunice, NM and has been in operation since 2010. Urenco provides enriched uranium to the commercial nuclear power sector.
Security Clearance Requirement: CAA Access and an L or Q level security clearance

Summary Of Responsibilities
- The project estimator plays a critical role in the construction and project management industry by meticulously assessing and quantifying all the elements involved in a project's cost estimation.
- Their primary responsibility is to analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine the materials, labor, equipment, and other resources required for successful project execution.
- The Project Estimator will use their expertise to create detailed and accurate cost estimates, taking into account factors like market prices, labor rates, and project-specific variables.
- Project Estimators work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and suppliers to ensure that budgets are well-defined and realistic.
- Their scope of work also includes conducting cost analysis, preparing bid documents, and monitoring project expenses, as needed, to ensure that the project remains within budget constraints.
- Ultimately, the role of a project estimator is pivotal in ensuring that projects are financially feasible and that stakeholders have a clear understanding of the anticipated costs involved.
- Bachelor's degree in business or engineering preferred.
- Certification from ASPE or similar organization preferred.
- 10 years of estimating experience.
- Estimating experience on nuclear projects is a plus.
