Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking a qualified candidate for Senior Creative Designer opportunities in Albuquerque, NM for the Sandia National Laboratories.

Job Duties :
Shall provide unclassified and classified communication services support, in the production of designing as it relates to publications, exhibits, multimedia, and presentation services on an as-needed basis. The subcontractor shall furnish all personnel, materials, equipment, facilities, and delivery services necessary to fulfill the necessary Statement of Work.
Must demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects, delivering excellent customer service. The designer must possess the ability to create cohesive and visually appealing designs based on input from multiple stakeholders and must have experience managing all facets of the design process, including concept development, layout, and final production. Must be able to observe and follow client corporate design Common Look and Feel policy for all communication products intended for external audiences developed under this subcontract. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with design software programs, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Support design meetings, assist in project reviews, and manage records of design decisions. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with diverse groups, produce designs with short lead times, and work independently with minimal supervision.
In addition, Senior Creative Designers direct the development of complex design projects and possess experience in conveying visual information effectively. Must be able to collaborate with multiple subject-matter experts to develop design concepts. May supervise or review the work of junior designers or subcontractors as needed. Must provide high-level design execution, knowledge of production processes, and attention to detail in design elements. Specific experience with regulatory requirements for design submissions is preferred. Ability to interact with engineers or project managers to understand and communicate design limitations; apply project knowledge and conduct research through discussions with technical specialists or other resources; and demonstrate expertise in a full range of design tasks. Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or other related field
- Minimum two (2) years experience working in creative design, graphic design, or other related field with demonstration of skills managing design projects, performing production projects, or other relative talent OR seven (7) years relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance ("L", "Q", or "Sigma 15")
- Ability to gain and maintain access to and travel to Client Locations or other work sites designated by Client
