Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an Industrial Hygiene (IH) Technician opportunity to support the Savannah River Site (SRS).

Industrial Hygiene (IH) Technician-
The Industrial Hygiene (IH) Technician will provide field support for the Industrial Hygiene Program by ensuring Federal, State, Company, and Site requirements regarding exposure to potential and chemical hazards to facility personnel.
Job Duties:
- Perform field industrial hygiene evaluations (e.g., heat strain, chemicals).
- Perform worker exposure assessments for chemical and physical hazards.
- Prepare technical reports.
- Communicate issues and results with employees and management in a professional manner.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Three (3) plus years’ experience providing industrial hygiene technician experience, or five (5) years’ experience troubleshooting or repairing mechanical equipment or electronics.
- Operational knowledge of computer databases and office programs (MS, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Job Requirements:
- Take and pass testing for Radiological Worker II and maintain IH equipment qualifications.
- May be required to drive government vehicles.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
