Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Controls opportunity to support the Savannah River Site.
Work Location: Blackfoot, ID (possible Hybrid option)
Project Controls-
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to management on classification requirements and compliance and on the CD process and deliverable format.
- Review and provide input to specifications for engineered equipment and/or subcontracts.
- Review and provide input to estimators on resources (labor and other-than-labor) needed to perform the scope of work.
- Provide input to schedulers on sequence, durations, and logic of activities
- Provide input to management regarding risk-informed schedules to serve as the basis for establishing milestones and PBIs.
- Provide input to engineers, estimators, and schedulers on constructability, maintain-ability, operability, and commissioning.
- Provide input to technical writers for BOEs, BOS, and WBS data dictionary.
Education & Years of Experience:
- Ten (10) years of experience in engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, proposal development, and/or project management.
- Bachelor’s degree (candidates not meeting the education requirements may be considered based on additional relevant experience).
Other Job Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE (“L” or “Q”) security clearance.
- Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to project controls.
