I. Purpose of Position
Operate blade grinding equipment to produce high quality razor blades.
II. Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Procedures :
- Maintain and operate blade grinding machines in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Regulate machining by setting and adjusting controls.
- Maintain specifications by observing quality standards and utilizing precision measurement equipment
- Resolve production problems to meet specifications and troubleshoot equipment; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
- Keep machines and work area clean.
- Document actions by completing production and quality records.
