Position Summary
Inspect packaging components, and/or finished goods to ensure compliance to quality specification and standards.
Observe and monitor production and/or manufacturing operations and equipment to ensure compliance to quality specifications and standards.

Essential Functions
- Inspect material using calibrated measuring devices (calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.) and/or visual examination following approved test methods and/or procedures.
- Document all inspection results per established Standard Operating Procedures.
- Determine material disposition based on established AQLs, quality specification and standards.
- Document and communicate any non-conformances.
- Escalates issues and/or problems to the proper personnel and assists in identifying and correcting these issues in a timely manner.
- Initiating quality notification and/or non-conforming material report including reporting a preliminary root cause and product disposition.
- Communicate inspection results with responsible parties, and recommend necessary corrective actions.
- Monitors rework work orders, inspects rework product to ensure product meets specification requirements for product release, and communicates rework status to Supervisors.
- Observe and monitor production and/or manufacturing operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specification. When applicable, direct necessary process or assembly adjustments.
- Ability to train and instruct colleagues on quality processes.
- Assist with the execution of equipment qualifications and validation.
- Verification of calibration status for measuring devices and equipment.
- Performs monthly limited scope audit.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all EPC Safety/Environmental, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Lean 5S policies and regulation guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Working knowledge of AQLs, ANSI and ASQC standards.
- Advanced math and computer skills required.
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Preferred Quality Control experience and/or experience in a manufacturing facility.
- SAP knowledge preferred.
- CQI certification preferred.
