The Role:
The Director of Marketing plays a crucial role in driving census development, strengthening community relationships, and enhancing our facility’s visibility. This role is ideal for a motivated healthcare marketing professional who thrives on building lasting partnerships and connecting families to the quality care we offer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to drive census growth, focusing on both short-term rehab and long-term care populations.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and other key referral sources.
- Organize and participate in community outreach events, health fairs, and networking activities to enhance Edgewood Manor’s visibility and reputation.
- Manage the admission process in collaboration with the admissions team to ensure smooth transitions for new residents.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and referral patterns to identify new growth opportunities.
- Oversee internal marketing efforts to maintain a positive experience for residents and families.
- Create marketing materials, coordinate digital campaigns, and manage the facility’s online presence.
- Provide regular reports to the facility’s leadership team on marketing activities, census trends, and goals.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of healthcare marketing, admissions, or business development experience, preferably in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting.
- Strong background in census development and community outreach.
- Exceptional communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, referral sources, and local healthcare systems.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
