Given ongoing construction and development plans, our current apartment portfolio of 5,000 plus units is expected to double in the next couple of years and rise to over 10,000 units in the next five years.
In addition,over 5 million square feet of commercial retail space. Given our rapid portfolio growth, coupled with ownership's desire to develop and hold rather than sell, the timing is ideal for qualified candidates to come on-board.
We are currently seeking an experienced Regional Housekeeping Manager This position will work out of our South Plainfield, NJ office
10-15 years of previous work experience in a related field is required
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Manages housekeeping operations for the portfolio (cleaning common areas & grounds)
- Oversight & acceptance of contracted cleaning services
- Weekly site inspections
- Measuring performance of both contractor & associates
- Creating associate cleaning schedules & assigning tasks
- Hiring, training and maintaining housekeeping staff
- Adhere to company policies & procedures
- Provide excellent customer service
- Able to support any and all housekeeping needs and or guidance of the properties
- Be organized and detail oriented in order to follow up on outstanding issues
- Responsible for creating policies and procedures to ensure the proper function of the housekeeping department
Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 10-15 years experience in relevant field
- 5-7 years experience in supervisory role
- Ability to read, write & speak English
- Ability to communicate with all staff members in a professional manner
