Position Overview:
The Cocktail Server is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests at the bar and lounge area. This role requires knowledge of premium spirits, craft cocktails, and wine, as well as the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere. The Cocktail Server must maintain professionalism, attention to detail, and a refined demeanor while anticipating guest needs and providing personalized service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and be knowledgeable on the full drink and food menu, including seasonal cocktails and any specialty offerings.
- Greet and engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Anticipate guest needs and ensure a personalized experience, including offering refills and asking if guests need anything further.
- Serve drinks in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Ensure that the bar is stocked with the necessary ingredients, glassware, and garnishes for the service shift.
- Upsell premium drinks and encourage guests to try new items.
- Collaborate with bartenders, servers, and other staff to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest payments and process checks accurately.
- Follow health and safety guidelines related to alcohol service and sanitation procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a cocktail server or in a fine dining environment is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
