Position Overview:
The Snack Bar Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the snack bar at our prestigious golf course and resort. This role ensures exceptional service, maintains high-quality food and beverage standards, and provides an outstanding guest experience in line with our luxury brand. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the snack bar, ensuring efficiency and high service standards.
- Greet and interact with guests in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Lead, train, and motivate the snack bar team to provide exceptional guest service.
- Assist in scheduling staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Foster a positive work environment by providing coaching and feedback to team members.
- Ensure staff adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
- Take and prepare food and beverage orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation quality.
- Prepare and serve light snacks, sandwiches, beverages, and other menu items.
- Ensure all food and drink items meet quality and presentation standards.
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
- Follow all resort and health department guidelines regarding hygiene, food safety, and sanitation.
- Restock inventory, including snacks, beverages, and condiments, as needed.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in food and beverage supervision, preferably in a luxury resort, golf course, or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic financial reporting.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations (ServSafe certification is a plus).
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Able to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
