Remote Associate Healthcare EDI Engineer

This role will provide assistance with a multitude of projects that will enhance the team's success. The EDI team is vital to our organization's mission and growth. This role will provide assistance with a multitude of projects that will enhance the ED team's success, such as :

• Design, build, document, maintain, and troubleshoot interfaces that facilitates data exchange between the technology platform and third-party systems
• Leverage interface standards (e.g. HL7) and scripts (Javascript) to build workflows and bi-directional interfaces between systems
• Maintain existing integrations - ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Perform root cause analysis and propose effective solutions to optimize, refactor, enhance, configure, and monitor existing integrations
• Document, maintain, and own technical artifacts, internal knowledge base, best practices, and templates for all integrations
• Facilitate, or participate in, meetings with clients, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders
• Understand specifications and requirements for the development / enhancements of interfaces and other types of data exchange, including but not limited to HIE standards and OP interfaces
• Protect the integrity of code : creating, submitting, and utilizing tests
• Work with Project Managers to manage the successful completion of deliverables and adhere to project deadlines
