What are the responsibilities and job description for the SSIS ETL Developer position at EDI Staffing?
Client is seeking a Cloud SQL Developer. Onsite Five Days per week. Remote is not an option.
Develop SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) programs to support the data integration with multiple applications. This can be a contract to hire position if desired, but direct hire is the goal. The successful candidate in this position will be expected to bring knowledge, expertise and experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and applying SSIS to develop data extraction-transformation-load function to create this integration.
Candidates must possess the following SSIS Expertise :
- Merge / Joins / Expressions / Error Handling
- Familiarity with project deployment model, use of project and package parameters, and Integration Services Catalog (including Environments)
- Knowledge of designing and developing data transformation solutions using a variety of SSIS components
- Knowledge and experience of scripting within SSIS (C#, VBA)
- Expertise in writing performant queries, stored procedures, views, joins, CTE's, sub-queries
- Have experience with query tuning
- Self-starter and learner who is able to think outside the box to find solutions to problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with a team or independently
