Purpose:
As a Warehouse Generalist you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the warehouse by supporting inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving processes. You will ensure the accuracy, organization, and timely movement of warehouse goods while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will also collaborates with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals and exceed customer expectations.
Location: This position will work onsite out of our Warehouse located in Plainfield, IN.

Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory, reporting quality issues and maintaining organized storage to minimize loss or damage
- Conduct cycle counts, adjust logs, identify and repackage slow-moving items, and restock shelves and cold rooms as needed
- Pick, pack, label, and ship orders accurately, including preparing shipments with appropriate labeling and documentation, and fulfilling Amazon or third-party orders.
- Manage inbound orders, schedule delivery appointments, offload and palletize products, and tag new pallets
- Use inventory management software like GreatPlains, Salespad and Teams to log shipments, import orders, split orders, and manage tracking numbers for invoicing purposes
- Inspect received, damaged, and returned items, and propose solutions for quality concerns
- Prioritize and process urgent orders based on business needs, ensuring timely shipping and tracking updates
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment; perform basic maintenance checks and report any issues
- Follow company safety protocols, comply with OSHA regulations, and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Save tracking numbers, run inbound mapping for invoicing, and communicate inventory discrepancies or quality issues to supervisors
- Support the warehouse management team in maintaining an organized and safe warehouse, and coordinate orders for warehouse supplies and services from vendors
Required Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; 1 years' experience in warehouse operations required. Active forklift certification preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, logistics, and shipping/receiving documentation and procedures.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), basic computer applications, and ability to adapt to technology changes.

Physical and Additional Requirements:
- Frequent lifting, bending, squatting, and climbing ladders to access inventory
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time (8 hours)
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions, including temperature extremes
- Capacity to operate manual and powered equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
- Capability to lift, move, and handle heavy items (up to 50 lbs) daily and/or as required
- Must be able to work on-site at least 5 days per week in our Indiana Warehouse location
