Delivery Ambassador Job Description
The Delivery Ambassador is responsible for representing Edible Arrangements by maintaining a professional image at all times, while providing excellent customer service. The delivery driver is responsible for delivering Edible Arrangements orders.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Accurately delivers Edible Arrangements products in an efficient, courteous and timely manner.
- Gathers and organizes delivery tickets by area
- Log tickets in computer system for tracking purposes
- Organizes most efficient routes
- Load arrangements in the delivery vehicle ensuring no missing items are left behind
- Help maintain clean, and safe vehicles by promptly reporting any mechanical issue to Manager.
- Assist in store with small tasks as needed when not delivering
Skills / Qualifications :
High School Education diploma or equivalent preferred;
Delivery driver experience preferred;
Current valid driver's license;
Clean driving record;
Comfortable driving a box truck, where you drive using side mirrors;
Must be very familiar with the Portland area and driving in the city;
Ability to follow directions, use map applications, and arrive at locations independently;
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills and
Positive attitude, friendly and upbeat personality.
