The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Responsibilities
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Assist in warehouse operations when not on delivery routes, including inventory management and organization.
- Operate forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
- Ensure the vehicle is maintained in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in route driving or as a courier is preferred.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Experience in warehouse settings is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting with clients and ensuring satisfaction.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate forklifts safely is required.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary.
