What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Edible Arrangements?
Overview
As the Delivery Driver™, you would be responsible for representing Edible® by maintaining a professional image and providing excellent Guest service. You would also be responsible for delivering Edible® orders accurately, in a timely manner, and with the aim to WOW our Guests. In this role, everyone is happy to see you!
Additional responsibilities:
- Accurately deliver Edible® products to Guests in an efficient, courteous, and timely manner * Gather and organize delivery tickets by area
- Log tickets in the computer system
- Organize most efficient routes
- Load product in the delivery vehicle
- Assist with food production tasks and other duties as needed
- Maintain clean and safe vehicles
- Safe operation of delivery vehicles
- All other duties as assigned
What we think you’re like:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Current, valid State Driver’s License and a clean driving record
- Must possess geographical knowledge of service area
- Ability to follow directions, read a map, and arrive at locations independently * Demonstrate professional, clean, and neat appearance
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude, friendly, and upbeat personality
- Good interpersonal skills, professionalism in dealing with team members, the public, and Guests * Computer skills including Microsoft software and register skills

- Ability to lift, carry, and/or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop throughout assigned shift

- PHONE MUST HAVE 5G COMPATIBILITY TO USE THE APP
- MUST DRIVE OWN VEHICLE
- Tinted windows preferably to reduce sun exposure to the arrangements
- This is temporary for Valentine's Day but it might be full time based on performance.
