Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team for the Mothers day holiday for the dates of 5/7-/5/11. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to manage time effectively while adhering to delivery schedules.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring that all items are secured and protected during transit.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently, utilizing GPS and maps to optimize travel time.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of products as required by delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record;
- Previous experience in delivery driving or courier services is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of route driving and local area geography is beneficial.
