Seasonal Delivery Drivers

Great opportunity for existing Uber Eats, DoorDash, or other delivery drivers.

This is a per delivery location job not by the hour. The more you deliver the more you make, any cash tips you get are yours however we don't ask for tips. (5 locations delivered to =$40, most people do 20-25 a day) Pay checks will be given on 2/22/24.

Edible Arrangements is looking for Delivery Drivers to help out for Valentine's Day Holiday week. Februrary 12-15th

The Delivery Drivers are responsible for representing Edible by maintaining a professional image and providing excellent customer service. The Delivery driver is also responsible for delivering Edible orders accurately, in a timely manner, and with the highest level of customer service. In this job, everyone is happy to see you!

In order to qualify for this position you must meet the following criteria:

- Available for work February 12-15th. (If you are available to help out 10th & 11th please let us know and we may be able to give you some work then also :)

-Must Be age 21

- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Clean Driving Record. & Full Insurance coverage.
- Must use a smartphone (iPhone or Android) to log deliveries /addresses.
- Must have your own reliable gas-filled vehicle for deliveries and keep the vehicle cool (a/c) while making deliveries

- No Smoking while making deliveries. Air conditioned Vehicle

Drivers are compensated $8 per Successful delivery per address (sometimes there may be more than 1 delivery but it will be delivered at the same time). Unlike Uber Eats and DoorDash you do not take one delivery at a time.

NOTE: Salary is based on individual performance, the more you deliver the more you can make. (eg. 5 deliveries in a hour is $40, and 20 deliveries during the day is $160)
A plus - Deliveries are all in Sumter only.

Store hours are from 8am -8pm.(minimum of 5 hrs you can work prefered)

***Come In-person with your Drivers License, Insurance & Registration Card. A limited number of spots are available for this popular seasonal position! Those that work out will be given first chance at Mother's day Holiday week and and future permanent positions.

Duties:
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customer's homes or businesses
- Follow designated routes and time schedules
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle
- Use handheld devices to track deliveries and communicate with the dispatch team
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving issues

Requirements:

-Current Drivers License, Insurance , Registration.

-Reliable Gas filled vehicle
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a related role preferred
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing stairs
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and the store team,
- Familiarity with using GPS devices and navigation apps
- Knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

-Knowledge of the area**

Skills:
- Warehouse experience for loading and unloading packages
- Route driving experience for efficient navigation
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and the dispatch coordinator
