What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Fresh Production Associate (Fruit Expert) position at Edible Arrangements?
Our seasonal positions are designed to support our increased workload during our busiest holiday seasons (Valentine's Day, Easter Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and more). This is a great opportunity to try something new and make some extra money while we help our Customers celebrate what's sweet in life!
The seasonal positions that we are currently offering are for the Valentine's Day holiday (our busiest holiday of the year!). Hours will be available between February 9 and February 22. The check date for this pay period will be Friday, February 28.
The base rate of pay for this position is $13.00 an hour with an additional $2.00 an hour differential applied to all hours worked provided that all scheduled shifts are worked as agreed upon with the Store Supervisor.
Fruit Expert ™ - Production (Seasonal)
The Fruit Expert ™ - Production Associate is responsible for creating the mouthwatering arrangements, dipped fruit tm boxes, and cut fruit for Edible® treat products, following proper operational procedures.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Build arrangements according to Edible standards
- Prepare a variety of arrangements according to customers' orders or supervisors' instructions, following approved procedures and proper portion sizes
- Select fruit for arrangements
- Wash, peel and/or cut various fruit to prepare for arranging
- Package arrangements or dipped fruit
- Receive and store fruit supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerators and other storage areas
- Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes
- Remove trash and clean kitchen waste containers
- Follow proper food sanitation and handling procedures
Job Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of food sanitation procedures
- Ability to read orders and follow verbal and written instructions
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to lift, carry and/or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

- Valid State Driver’s License and a clean driving record preferred, if driving

- Learns and demonstrates all performance standards by completing in-store training and utilizing digital training portal on an ongoing basis
