Job Location: New York city, NY (Remote/ Hybrid)
Duration: Fulltime with Client

Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering or another scientific field. Master's or PhD preferred.
- 8 years of progressive HPC system administration and operations experience (preferably in a Redhat/CentOS Linux administration, Batch HPC cluster environment).
- Experience with all aspects of HPC including schedulers, parallel file systems, configuration management systems, etc.
- Proficient in cybersecurity processes, posture, regulations, approaches, protocols, firewalls, data protection in a regulated environment (e.g. finance, healthcare).
- Proficient with cloud services, orchestration tools, cost optimization and hybrid architectures for HPC.
- Must be an expert troubleshooter; Must be a team player and customer-focused.
- Excellent analytical ability and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Scripting and programming experience.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with LSF and GPFS Spectrum Scale.
- Experience in a healthcare environment.
- Experience with NIST 800 and FISMA regulations.
- Experience with NIH STRIDES.
- Experience with managing web access to HPC resources (such as Open OnDemand).
- Experience in a research environment is highly preferred.
- Experience with TSM archival storage and tape libraries.
- Experience with databases and web services.
