Job Description
We re seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Golang and Python expertise to build scalable applications for Magna, a leader in automotive innovation. Based in Troy, MI, you ll collaborate on-site with cross-functional teams and occasionally travel to Canada, requiring strong communication and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable apps using Golang and Python
- Translate business needs into technical solutions with product managers
- Conduct code reviews and optimize performance
- Ensure service reliability, security, and scalability
- Coordinate with Canadian teams as needed
Required Skills
- 5 years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Golang and Python (both required)
- Expertise in backend services, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native development
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Local to Troy, MI
- Ability to travel to Canada (valid passport/visa if applicable)
