Required qualifications:

• Analyze and enhance SQL and SAS scripts, implementing efficient solutions using Pandas and PySpark for optimized data processing.
• Develop and maintain web pages featuring Quality Control (QC) Reports using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Build and manage Python packages to enable seamless Teradata-Spark connectivity for generating QC Reports and running on high-configuration EMR clusters.
• Design and implement web applications using Python and Django, following Agile methodologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address data load issues.
• Expand and optimize database connectivity for platforms such as ORE, Snowflake, Redshift, and Teradata using Python and Spark.
• Lead legacy system migrations from Teradata SQL queries to Amazon Snowflake, ensuring a smooth transition and improved performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and provide innovative solutions using Python, Spark, and AWS.
• Build end-to-end web applications by integrating Python, Django, and MySQL, ensuring efficient data management with optimized queries.
• Implement Amazon AWS services such as S3 and RDS to enhance hosting capabilities for static/media files and databases.
• Fine-tune backend and frontend code for optimal performance and consistency, ensuring high-quality application functionality.
• Design and develop frontend and backend modules using the Django Web Framework, managing source control via GitHub.
• Handle debugging, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of web applications to ensure reliability and performance.

• Databases: MySQL, Snowflake, Redshift, Teradata
• Cloud Platforms: Amazon AWS (S3, RDS, EMR)
• Other Tools: GitHub, JSON, XML, Splunk, Unix, XHTML

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on Python and Django.
• Experience with data migration, cloud services, and real-time data processing.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, RDS, and EMR.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize web applications.
