Job Description

Do you love working with kids? We are looking for individuals with a passion for childcare to assist in the planning and implementation of the preschool program. No formal training is required.

At Edina Public Schools, we pride ourselves on being a learning community where all participate and all belong. A successful candidate will be a team player, have a strong desire to learn, and be passionate about equal access to learning for all children. Some of the job responsibilities include :

Create and run extra-curricular activities for students in preschool, including art, music, games, and more
Help with setup of the classroom and activities

Pay & Schedule :

Competitive pay, starting at $16.42 / hour up to $21.27 / hour based on experience

Available shifts :

Part Time PM : 2 : 30 PM - 5 : 30 PM Monday through Friday

Benefits include :

On the job paid training for first aid, CPR, child development, and working with students with special needs

Strong support network with ongoing staff development and a team environment

Qualifications :

No formal childcare experience is required - we are looking for individuals who have a passion for helping people and enjoy working with kids

Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check
