It is co-taught with a special education teacher. The learning objective is to rehearse and perform 1 play/musical each semester. The cast is made up of students with and without disabilities. The individual will also have the opportunity to direct a mainstage show for the high school each year if they wish.

LICENSURE REQUIREMENT(S):
Theatre Arts license issued through the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB).
RATE OF PAY:
The 2024-2025 starting salary range for this position is $48,909 to $106,848 at 1.0 FTE, pro-rated for reduced FTE. Salary offers will consider the candidate's experience, education, skills, and the school district's budget. Experienced candidates should expect a salary offer around the midpoint of the salary range. In exceptional cases, salaries exceeding the midpoint may be offered to attract candidates for hard-to-fill positions or those with specialized skills. Such decisions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
