Assistant Teacher

Responsibilities:
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth
- Use effective classroom management strategies to maintain a productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate activities and ensure student success
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and administrators
-Assist classroom teacher as needed

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma Required - If applying as an assistant teacher, then 90 hours are not required but always welcome!
- Minimum of 1 year Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students

Pay Scale:

Starting rate of pay is based on experience working with children, trainings received for early childhood, etc.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
