What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Sales Specialist position at EDIS Group?
We’re seeking a motivated Commercial Sales Specialist to join our team and drive the success of our commercial boiler products across the Midwest. In this role, you’ll work closely with Manufacturer’s Representatives, contractors, engineers, and distributors to grow market presence, achieve sales goals, and provide technical expertise throughout the entire sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate relationships with contractors, engineers, and distributors in key market segments
- Provide pre-and post-sales support, including application engineering and project quoting
- Manage and pursue large project leads and ensure timely follow-up
- Coach and drive performance of Manufacturer’s Representatives to deliver on sales targets
- Utilize CRM to track sales activity, maintain accurate quote logs, and manage the sales funnel
- Deliver training on product features and sales strategies to representatives
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and market trends
Qualifications:
- 5 years of sales experience in hydronic heating, HVAC, plumbing, or industrial mechanical equipment
- Experience with manufacturer representatives and distributor management
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of building systems
- Proven ability to manage a sales territory and drive growth
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the region
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Salary : $100,000 - $135,000
