Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This position requires an individual who is capable of maintaining a high standard of work, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety regulations. The successful candidate will be a proactive communicator and someone who can effectively manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
- Budget & Schedule Management: Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines. Proactively manage changes to the scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and adjustments are handled efficiently.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications. Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, clients, architects, engineers, and suppliers.
- Documentation & Reporting: Utilize technology to maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, RFIs (requests for information), change orders, and progress reports. Ensure proper record-keeping and generate timely, detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Travel Requirements: Travel up to 60-70% of the time to project sites. Most travel will occur midweek, with weekend travel limited to emergency situations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in managing commercial construction projects.
- Proven ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with construction safety regulations and industry standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
