What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician - CMM position at EDIS Group?
Job Summary:
The Quality Technician will work closely with the Quality Manager to launch new processes and develop the Quality Management System; leads root cause corrective analysis utilizing a modified 8D form, PPAP functions according to AIAG, and will assist with ISO 9001:2015 auditing.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Handles internal and external quality issues and drives timely and effective corrective actions.
- Collaborates with Operations Managers to identify opportunities for improvements to workflow and controls to increase efficiency; ensures processes comply with health and safety codes and regulations).
- Implements, maintains, and audits company quality systems, products, and processes.
- Manages PPAP process according to AIAG with updates to PFMEA, Process Flow, and Control Plan according to corrective actions and improved processes.
- Problem solving analysis.
- CPK analysis.
- Document creation and revision including SOPs and Work Instructions.
- Analyzes and reports data related to process output, capability studies, and gage R&R.
- Maintains 6S (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain, safety) standards in all work stations.
· Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
