The R&D Engineer is responsible for:
- Evaluating new technologies
- Collaborating with customers and subject matter experts with a focus on the user experience
- Establishing preliminary product/system requirements
- Organizing and documenting ideation activities
- Leading design, build, and test of concepts
- Plan and execute customer pilots and demonstrations
- Collaborate with product management to create the product vision
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Automation background
- 5 years in new product development
- Strong user of CAD, Microsoft suite, project management software
- Ability to elicit cooperation across departments, from senior management, and external suppliers
- Experience with technical writing and presenting to upper management
- Experience in fluid delivery or fluid power technologies is highly desired
- Work in a fast-paced, small team environment under minimal supervision while meeting schedule and cost commitments
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
