Duties:
- Greet patients as they enter.
- Answer calls: set appointments, schedule referrals and answer questions.
- Sign patients in and ensure intake paperwork and consents are completed.
- Send and receive faxes.
- Answer support email and texts.
- Pull insurance and verify coverage.
- Help patients with frame selections when optical is busy.
- Accept and record payments.
Skills:
- No experience required. We are looking for an employee with a friendly personality and good work ethic. We are happy to teach the skills needed for the job.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of customer service
