Responsibilities

This role is primarily responsible for servicing the company's front line phone calls from health plan members and healthcare providers with the utmost professionalism, empathy, and compassion, and as such, serves as the face of the company. In addition to discussing health plan benefits, insurance claims, etc., our Specialists act as healthcare navigators trained to identify, and educate our plan members on, all available options to meet their healthcare needs.

Qualifications

You must exhibit:
  • excellent communication skills!
  • an inclination toward compassion and empathy to your fellow man.
  • a cheery disposition.
  • the ability to problem solve through discovery in conversation.
  • a genuine desire to help people, such that you are able and willing to meet them where they are, earn their respect and trust, and get them the help they need.
  • the ability to keep a level head while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • a desire to learn and grow 
 

We also require:

basic computer skills/experience in Microsoft Office, etc.
availability Monday-Friday, 8-5 to work in office.
 

We prefer, but do not necessarily require:

  • a rich background in customer service and/or the healthcare industry.
  • experience in health insurance.
