JOB SUMMARY
Why: Edison House seeks a leader to build a successful team, a winning culture, and bring operational and food and beverage excellence to Edison House. We are hiring an Assistant Director of Outlets to lead service operations across our two restaurants. This role is responsible for ensuring outstanding guest experiences by overseeing our food and beverage managers, servers, server assistants, bartenders.
This is a highly visible role with majority of their efforts being on the floor overseeing service, coaching staff, and executing training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary goal is exceptional service quality that consistently delights guests.
- Lead, train, and develop all front-of-house outlets staff.
- Hire and retain top-tier talent for the service team.
- Implement and execute comprehensive training programs for all roles.
- Measure and improve service quality based on guest feedback and service survey scores.
- Collaborate a successful bar program through the Bar Manager
- Some POS system management to ensure smooth operations.

- Guests consistently praise service quality in verbal feedback and surveys.
- The team is well-trained, professional, and motivated.
- Hiring and retention of high-performing front-of-house staff.

Additional Requirements
· 5 or more years in the hospitality industry including three plus years in management or supervisory role.
· Extensive experience developing beverage programs.
· Previous responsibility of bar and restaurant financials and budgets including analyzing variances and initiating corrective action.
· High level of standard of excellence and quality.
· Ability to communicate effectively with staff and fellow management team as well as ownership.
· Knowledge of cost accounting, developing and maintaining budgets, and financial planning and strategy.
· Ability to utilize restaurant industry technology such as inventory management, and/or point of sale systems.
· Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
· Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
