Edison House is a social club in downtown Salt Lake City offering a brand new 30,000 square foot clubhouse which includes two restaurant concepts, four bars, workout facility, private event space, concert venue, and rooftop pool.
Job Summary
What: We are seeking to build a team of creative, ambitious, self-starters who are looking to be a part of a one-of-a-kind project in Salt Lake. Making special moments for our members is the backbone of our culture and we empower each of our employees to go above and beyond.
Why: Member programming plays a central role in our mission of bringing people together and helping our members expand their horizons. The bartenders' role will be to help facilitate special moments for our members that will turn in to lasting memories. Working in hospitality is so much more than taking food and drink orders.
How: Through a creative mind and boundless energy our server team will guide our members through our Chef's carefully curated menu, lead them through our cocktail and wine program.
To be successful as a Bartender you will need to be:
- Previous experience in an upscale or fine dining atmosphere.
- Experience in making craft cocktails in an elevated service atmosphere
- Detail-oriented, making sure every guest experience is flawless and executed
- Independent and resourceful.
- BIG IDEA kind of person.
Regular duties for the Bartenders
- Ability to work well on a team and receptive to feedback and coaching
- Professional appearance / grooming standards appropriate for a premier fine dining restaurant.
- Interest in wine and craft cocktails and pursuing ongoing wine or spirit education, preferred

Additional Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the hospitality industry
- Current Utah Food Handler and DABC Certifications are required within 30 days of hire
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellence guest relations skills
