My client is seeking a high-performing, proactive Senior Energy Engineer to join their team. This role requires a self-starter who can deliver exceptional value to clients with minimal oversight from project managers and senior management. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, semi-autonomous, and an excellent communicator capable of collaborating directly with client stakeholders in senior management positions on a daily basis.

Core Requirements
- Strong energy analysis capabilities with sound technical fundamentals to deliver timely and effective energy analysis1
- Working knowledge of energy modeling in software and spreadsheets
- Understanding of energy economics and audit processes
- Ability to consistently deliver work on or ahead of schedule and delegate effectively to junior team members
- "Vision for value" - capacity to extrapolate client value propositions based on limited criteria, defining logical roadmaps that align with client objectives
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients, project managers, and technical teams
- Experience in working effectively with sub-contractors and other project stakeholders to develop and implement energy projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Professional credentials such as PE, CEM, or similar energy/engineering certifications
- Working experience with Building Management Systems/Building Automation Systems (BMS/BAS)
- Knowledge of NY/NJ utility incentive programs (ConEd, NYSERDA, NJ SmartStart)
- Familiarity with Energy Project Finance and Funding Methods
