Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of new AI based applications, ensuring they meet standards for scalability and security.
- Oversee the integration of applications with various external services, ensuring seamless data exchange and functionality across systems.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to support application interoperability and enhance user experiences.
- Guide the team in adopting cloud-native solutions for application deployment, focusing on scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Lead by example in adopting best practices in code quality, documentation, and maintainability to ensure long-term success of projects.
- Actively participate in code reviews and collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot complex issues and identify optimal solutions.
- Drive the incorporation of machine learning models into applications, collaborating with data scientists to leverage data-driven insights.
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to foster skill development and promote a culture of continuous learning.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python.
- Demonstrable experience with REST API development, cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and service integrations.
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including agile development, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Proficiency in machine learning concepts and experience integrating ML models into applications is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
