Dishwasher

Edith’s Mexican Buffet is looking for a Dishwasher to join our team in Pharr, TX.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and stock equipment and supplies as needed.
• Operate all kitchen equipment in a safe manner and follow proper food safety procedures.
• Wash and sanitize all dishes and utensils.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations governing employment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the head cook or cook shift supervisor.

Required Skills:

• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen with an active kitchen staff.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work any shift, including nights and weekends.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, push, pull, and twist while standing for length of time.
• Ability to work with various types of food products including but not limited to fish, chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, lobster, scallops, shrimp and other seafood items.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Physical Setting:

• Casual dining restaurant
• Fast casual restaurant

Shift:

• Day shift
• Morning shift
