Event Manager
Liaison between EDLEN and clients to assist with electrical requirements for special events, tradeshows and productions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Provide assistance and guidance to all clients and venue staff to ensure proper electrical support
- Coordinate with electricians to provide accurate information regarding all electrical orders
- Confirm all show information the company's event management program (EMP) is accurate on a regular basis
- Develop and execute a complete and thorough knowledge of all aspects of EMP and how it relates to event management duties
- Participate and assist in the preparation of event services estimates, invoices and billing negotiation
- Gather, input, manage, and execute complex show management utility requirements in order to produce estimates, provide services and obtain final approval
- Possess a complete and thorough understanding of all order forms in order to ascertain which forms should be utilized for certain types of events (i.e., rate, package, labor, lighting, etc.)
- Possess complete and thorough knowledge of EDLEN’s electrical equipment as it relates to power distribution and billing
- Coordinate with other Event Managers to acquire knowledge needed to provide assistance on other venues
- Maintain and update EMP Branch and Show Price Maintenance modules
- Ability to plan, manage and execute the production of complex events including: Creating, producing and scheduling work orders for exhibitor and show management requirements o Ability to assist exhibitors and show management with the planning and layout of their utility orders o Ability to interact with exhibitors and show management onsite to discuss their needs and issues o Manage the service and labor desks for events o Attend all pre and post event planning meetings o Negotiate and finalize show management invoices
- Interact and cultivate relationships with facilities, partners, clients, and customers to ensure efficient operations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
