Summary
Level one Production Technicians are the foundation of the production department.There are three tracks in the level one technician development plan.Track one is focused on assembly, track two is focused on fabrication and the final track is focused on CNC machine operation.For either track the roles will be diverse requiring numerous skills, functions, responsibilities and tasks.As each Technician increases their skill through cross training, thereby learning ALL roles in the Production Technician level one sphere track one, two or three only then can they move onto a Production Technician Level 2.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities – Track 1
Full time - 40 hours per week

Essential Duties And Responsibilities – Track 1
- Proficient in multiple work areas and/or departments of all assembly jobs basic to advance assembly of commercial kitchen equipment
- Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products.
- Set-up, operate and maintain equipment, tools and/or fixtures on powered equipment press brake, spotwelder, greenard, tape machines.
- Operates and conducts basic maintenance on equipment.
- Must be able to trouble shoot, calibrate and perform repairs to products in work centers.This may include utilizing complex devices such as oscilloscopes, multi meters, and other complex tools and equipment.
- Must be able to read complex blueprints, schematics, work instruction or job order to determine measurements, dimensions and specifications.
- Utilize correct fixtures in conjunction with machine settings and materials.
- Verifies conformance to specifications.
- Responsible for quality including first piece and in-process inspections.
- Identify and understand tooling, fixtures, and fixture components.
- Produces highest quality products by following written and oral instructions.
- Uses and understands functional gages to insure quality products.
- Basic understanding of pneumatic product – understanding specs, drawings, wiring and operation of equipment.
- Continually provide corrections and process improvements of work instructions and assembly processes.
- Must be abel to work with model makers and engineers to develop and improve products and processes in work centers product line
- Operate basic manual and air tools drills, hammers, wire cutters, soldering
- Must be adept in complex mechanical, pneumatics, electrical and/or electronics to support all products and processes within the department work centers as needed.
- Utilize various cleaning supplies goo gone, stainless polish, sandpaper.
Full time - 40 hours per week
Salary : $18 - $25
