Job Goal :
To create a flexible elementary grade program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils; to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for elementary grade education, in accordance with each pupil's ability; to establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members.
Contract : One hundred eighty one (181) contract days / temporary contract.
Salary : District scale.
Evaluation : Performance of this job will be evaluated by the Site Principal in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policies and state law.
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education and / or early childhood.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :
Valid Oklahoma teaching certificate with elementary and / or early childhood endorsements.
