General Job Description

Job Summary:

The Service Technician will perform Hot checks and service calls. Must be able to troubleshoot accurately and efficiently.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • None


Duties/Responsibilities

  • Ensuring homeowner calls are met in a timely manner
  • Complete all work at homeowners’ homes in a neat and workmanlike manner.
  • Responsible for correcting any issues for homeowners that are listed on their work ticket.
  • Ensuring all homes, we enter are left clean of all debris, material etc.
  • Ability to navigate situations with homeowners and deescalate situations with dissatisfies customers by reassuring the homeowner that we are doing the best we can to provide the service needed.
  • Must be available during the required on-call for after hour emergency service on a rotating schedule with the other service techs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities

  • Electrical trade knowledge for all aspects of residential electric.
  • Ability to read prints and scale to ensure placement of fixtures, receptacles, switches, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills including active listening and attentiveness.
  • Service-Oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
  • Must have time management skills, organizational skills, multitasking skills, and detailed oriented.
  • Be able to stay focused on task and have the ability to work well under pressure.


Education And Experience

  • Previous experience in all phases of residential electricity.


Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
  • Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces
  • Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time.
  • Must have clean driving record.
