What are the responsibilities and job description for the SERVICE TECHNICIAN- ELECTRIC position at EDMONSON ELECTRIC LLC?
Job Summary: The Service Technician will perform Hot checks and service calls. Must be able to troubleshoot accurately and efficiently.
$500.00 SIGN ON BONUS, VEHICLES, TABLETS, GREAT PAY!!*
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Ensuring homeowner calls are met in a timely manner
- Complete all work at homeowners’ home in a neat and workmanlike manner.
- Responsible for correcting any issues for homeowners that are listed on their work ticket.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timeliness of calls in regard to homeowner’s schedule.
- Ensuring all homes, we enter are left clean of all debris, material etc.
- Ability to navigate situations with homeowners and deescalate situations with regard to frustration of call etc.
- Service Technicians will be required to be on-call for after hour emergency service on a rotating schedule with the other service techs.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Electrical trade knowledge for all aspects of residential electric.
- Ability to read prints and scale to ensure placement of fixtures, receptacles, switches, etc.
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience in all phases of residential electricity.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
- Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
- Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time.
- Must have clean driving record.
