Position Summary
The Counter Sales Associate will contribute to operational efficiency by performing diverse administrative tasks with accuracy and provide ongoing support to the operations team. This role will effectively communicate with both management and other team members while adhering to Arbor Valley's policies and procedures, consistently demonstrating behaviors aligned with the company’s foundational fundamentals and culture.

Work Environment
At times, this job may be exposed in an outdoor nursery and greenhouse environments. Routinely exposed to various weather conditions. Tasks are performed in an office setting and outdoor environment.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of standing, bending, walking, lifting, and moving. Frequent motions include grasping, seeing, and other repetitive movements. Must be able to lift, carry, minimum up to 50 pounds, more with assistance. Must have physical stamina and the ability to perform physical demands in varying weather conditions.
Essential Functions

Contribute to operational efficiency by executing various administrative tasks with precision by
- Answering incoming calls, enter and set up new customer accounts, and provide support to operational team members with miscellaneous tasks.

Provide various support to the operations team as necessary, fostering a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Assist in inventory counts, tagging, plant health care, plant loading/receiving, etc.
- Maintain regular communication with both management and team members, promptly alerting any challenges or issues that may arise.
- Adhere to Arbor Valley’s policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate behaviors that align seamlessly with Arbor Valley’s foundational fundamentals and culture.
- Engage in job rotation duties due to business needs.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- 2 years customer service experience
- 2 years administrative experience
- Previous Nursery Experience a plus!
- Bi-lingual a plus!
