What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Scientist position at (EDO) Entertainment Data Oracle, Inc.?
Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking Data Scientists with various levels of experience (Junior–Senior and SME Levels) providing Sponsor Support located in Chantilly, VA. The candidate will collaborate with internal and external offices to curate and contextualize enterprise-level information about Sponsor resources and activities.

- Support data acquisition process and dataset characterization; conduct data investigation and exploratory data analysis; implement models and algorithms; correlate similar data to find actionable results.
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Integrate wide-ranging business data sets to create reliable and repeatable methodologies.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets using predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences and other business outcomes.
- Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
- Address complex business and intelligence questions at an enterprise level and translate complex, technical findings into an easily understood narrative.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
- Utilize critical thinking and analytic judgments, applying programmatic, quantitative, and qualitative methods to identify patterns and relationships in disparate datasets.
- Use mathematical, statistical, or other data-driven analysis to address business questions.
- Interact with customers to coordinate requirements and resolve data questions.
- Provide analytical judgment and trend analysis based on research and comparisons with past products.
- Obtain structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, synthesizing it, and presenting the results effectively and concisely in written and graphic form to internal and external stakeholders.
