General Role Description
The E-Commerce Marketing Specialist plays a vital role in driving online sales performance and customer engagement across Edovate Learning Corporation’s retail and supplemental education brands: Discover!, Curriculum Express, and Elephango. This role is responsible for managing digital storefronts, coordinating promotions, optimizing product listings, and leading email marketing efforts to nurture and convert audiences across multiple brands.
The ideal candidate brings a mix of e-commerce operations and digital marketing experience, with a strong focus on executing email campaigns that align with promotional calendars, customer journeys, and revenue goals. You’ll collaborate closely with creative, product, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless and consistent experience from inbox to checkout.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Marketing and Operations
- Manage product listings, categories, and promotions across WooCommerce storefronts, ensuring all listings are accurate, optimized, and up to date.
- Coordinate seasonal campaigns, sitewide promotions, and brand-specific offers to drive conversions and revenue across all e-commerce platforms.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop compelling promotional graphics, landing pages, and on-site content that support campaigns.
- Monitor and maintain pricing accuracy, inventory visibility, and taxonomy standards across products and collections.
- Implement on-site SEO and CRO (conversion rate optimization) strategies to increase discoverability and average order value.
Email Marketing Ownership
- Plan, build, and execute email campaigns that align with brand calendars, product launches, and promotional events.
- Own the development of email marketing strategy across Discover!, Curriculum Express, and Elephango, including segmentation, scheduling, A/B testing, and performance reporting.
- Collaborate with content creators and designers to develop engaging email templates and copy that resonate with segmented audiences.
- Manage automated flows such as abandoned cart sequences, welcome emails, product recommendations, and re-engagement campaigns.

- Regularly analyze key metrics (open rates, clickthrough rates, conversion rates, unsubscribes) and optimize based on results.
- Maintain email list hygiene and ensure deliverability best practices are followed in all campaigns.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Required:
- 2–4 years of experience in e-commerce marketing or email marketing, preferably in a consumer or retail environment
- Hands-on experience with WooCommerce or comparable e-commerce platforms
- Proven experience planning and executing email campaigns, including promotional sends and automated flows
- Working knowledge of HubSpot or similar platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign)
- Ability to write clear, engaging marketing copy and collaborate with designers on branded visuals
- Strong understanding of email metrics and optimization strategies
- Proficiency with Google Analytics and other marketing tools to measure campaign and site performance
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple deadlines across multiple brands
Preferred:
- Experience working in education, EdTech, or digital subscription services
- Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS for email formatting or web edits
- Experience with Canva, Trello, or Asana for campaign management
